Having disconnected the paint gun from its compressed air supply, remove the paint pot from the gun (gravity or PPS) and remove any filters or other restrictions in the paint connection - DO NOT open / operate the trigger on the gun - DO NOT remove the air cap or other parts.
Carefully position the spray gun by placing it upside down over the conical jet, which should be inserted into the paint cup connection port. DO NOT open or operate the trigger.
Push the air supply pipe over the compressed air connector on the paint gun. This does not require any tools.

Once fixed it looks like this....
Open the paint gun trigger and secure it in the open position using the clip supplied.

Place the paint cup over the special support rod (if using gravity cups).

Note: gun is pointing towards lid rack.
Place lid in lid rack with the underside facing the gun.

Ready to clean.
Close the machine lid and dial up the cleaning time using the timer knob (normally 2 to 3 minutes is more than enough). The machine will now clean the gun inside and out automatically.

Don't forget you can also use the manual 'through flow' brush for external cleaning and also the atomiser of 'fresh rinse' fluid, if needed use for no more than 30 seconds.
